Lenses at Itopian Optical cost less than most retail offerings due to the fact that we use our own lens designs and do not have to charge extra for a name brand that does not offer any advantages to our clients.  We make all lens brands available but rarely find it advantageous for our customers.

Polarized lenses are created with a thin film that controls how light is filtered; same as a set of horizontal blinds for your window.  The film blocks reflective glare which comes off of hard surfaces but lens tints are just as important for maximum comfort to harsh glare.  It is the combination of glare control that makes for the ultimate in wearing comfort both indoors and outdoors.  All our lenses are offered in both polarized and non-polarized depending on the necessary application.

The lenses are designed for the frame and can be put in the smallest of frames with complete confidence; the lenses are designed for the frame size and accommodates both small and large frames.  The lenses are not designed until the frame is chosen to ensure the best optics possible.

The new lens designs we offer are actually made for "wrap" sunglasses and virtually any rx is now possible.  This used to be very limited but has expanded over the years.

Itopian Optical has an industrial piece of equipment to process all types of eyewear in our retail location; we specialize in custom shapes that best compliment the wearer.  Your frames never leave the building and all work is done in our location to ensure consistent results.

We do less than 1% lined bi-focals because of all the optical limitations and have near perfect results putting our customers in progressive lenses.  All lenses and fitting are not the same; hence we have no problems making the switch.

We are glad and one of the few offices that encourage folks to use frames they already love; we do all the work in the store and can even allow folks to hold the frames until we are ready to install them with an appointment.  Usually done in less than 60 minutes while you wait.

We offer the complete collection of Transitions lenses and also offer other types of lenses that get darker when exposed to sunlight.  There are many choices and we encourage all to look at the samples to determine the best choice for the application.
