Dr. Emilio Martinez-Lezama
Board Certified Optometric Physician
Dr. Martinez-Lezama brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our practice. With a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech, he combines rigorous academic training with hands-on experience, including a residency in Ocular Disease at a renowned ophthalmology clinic in Fort Myers.
Dr. Martinez-Lezama is certified by the Florida and Arizona Boards of Optometry and the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, he has also contributed to research and education through publications, lectures, and SVOSH missions to Central and South America.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Martinez-Lezama enjoys salsa and ballroom dancing, weight training, and traveling, embodying a balanced and dynamic approach to life.
