Developed and designed by the Ultra Palm Optical family in 1994, Caviar was created to allow women to feel great and celebrate their individual beauty. Caviar has held true to its vision and is known worldwide as the producers of the world’s most dazzling fine crystal eyewear. Long before crystals became popular in eyewear, Caviar saw the potential in this trend and developed one of the first pair of frames with crystals.
Caviar began with only two pair of frames without stones. The following year the collection grew to include over six models. Today the collection has over 90 styles with over half of them having genuine Austrian Swarovski ® Crystals throughout.
Caviar never mass produces any of its models. In fact just fewer than 100 of each model are produced throughout the life of the frame. This ensures Caviar will stand out as something exotic and rare. The development and design process of each pair of Caviar takes about two years, to ensure unique design, durability, and over all look and feel of the frame.
