Leadership

Craig Chasnov was born and raised in Long Island, New York. After graduating from Geneseo State College with a degree in Business Administration, Craig moved to Rochester, NY where in the late 90’s, he introduced the Crizal non-glare coating to the U.S. market. He has also served on national panels covering the latest in cutting edge technology for lens and frames. In addition to being an industry speaker and highly skilled, licensed optician; Craig has taken the lead role in developing unique and innovative product and programs to differentiate I-Topian Optical from the competition. The ability to have frames, lenses and coatings created specially for our clients ensures we can build the best glasses in the world!

Craig was honored with being named the “Advocate of the Year” in 2013 for his work with Make A Wish of Southern Florida. He is a wish grantor and sits on both the Lee and Collier County Presidents Councils to help promote awareness and funds to continue the mission for Make A Wish in addition to rescuing dogs that find their way into our lives and store.

Craig is also very involved in our family charity work that involves rescuing dogs or helping to give back to a local foster home for single moms. Charity work begins at home and both children give back to the community that has been so good to their family. Craig is dedicated to giving back to the community that supports them on a daily basis. We donate all monies collected for repairs and adjustments to local charities. In 2013, we where able to grant 2 Wishes for over $10,000 via our collected monies for repairs and adjustments. As Wish Grantors for Make A Wish we have the privilege of giving families with sick children a chance to have a wish come true for that family- It is life changing for all involved and the reason we are so passionate about the missions we serve.

At the annual Make-A-Wish Southern Florida volunteer appreciation party; Kelly Chasnov of I-Topian Optical was named the “Wishmaker of the Year for 2014″.

We are proud to support organizations through sponsorships, donations and volunteer time. I-Topian Optical proudly supports Wee Waggin Rescue, Inc.Make A Wish of Southern Florida, 3 Wishes, Angel Flight SERonald McDonald House and Our Mothers Home to name a few.
