Ordering prescription eyewear online
How do I order prescription glasses online?
Choose a frame available to order online and select the lenses you’d like. Upload a photo of your prescription, enter it manually, or send it later. Our opticians review your prescription before the lab starts and can help you choose the right lens design, material, or finish for your frame.
Can I measure my PD and segment height at home?
Yes. We built our online measurement tool to guide you through taking your pupillary distance (PD) and segment height. PD tells us where to center the lenses from side to side. Segment height tells us where to place the fitting point vertically in the frame, which is especially important for progressive lenses. If you need help with the measurements, contact our opticians.
Why did I-Topian build its own online measuring tool?
We saw that our clients could choose a beautiful frame online, but still needed an easy way to take the measurements we use in the boutique. We created the tool for our own clients and for optical retailers around the world facing the same challenge. It brings a key part of the fitting process into the online experience.

Premium prescription lenses and customization
What premium prescription lens options do you offer?
We can help you compare single-vision lenses, premium progressives, and lenses tailored to computer or desk work. Depending on your prescription and frame, options can include thinner lens materials, anti-reflective treatments, light-adaptive lenses, and custom sun tints. Your optician will explain what each choice changes in day-to-day use and how it affects the finished eyewear.
Can you replace the prescription lenses in a frame I already own?
Yes, when the frame is suitable. Bring in the frame and your current prescription so we can assess its condition, construction, and lens options. This is a good way to keep a favorite or discontinued frame while updating the way you see through it.
Can you make lenses for rimless frames or wraparound sunglasses?
We work with rimless and wraparound designs, including frames that require specialized lens shapes or fitting. Our opticians assess the prescription, curvature, and mounting before recommending what can be made. On compatible rimless frames, we can also discuss adjusting the lens shape or size.
Prescriptions, timing, and care
Can I bring a prescription from another eye doctor?
Yes. Bring your current eyeglass prescription, along with any glasses you use regularly. We’ll take the fitting measurements needed for the eyewear you choose. If you need a new prescription, you can also ask about an eye exam at our Fort Myers boutique.
How long will my custom eyewear take?
Timing depends on the frame, prescription, lens design, and treatments you choose. We’ll give you an estimate before you order. If we’re replacing lenses in a frame you already wear, ask whether you can keep wearing it until the new lenses are ready for fitting.
Can I come back for an adjustment after pickup?
Yes. If your glasses slip, feel uneven, or press behind your ears, contact the boutique for a fitting check. If you’re having trouble with your vision in the new lenses, bring the glasses in so we can review the fit and lens measurements with you.
